MIDAS is capable to identify some abnormal experimental conditions which could jeopardize a proper acquisition of the MuSR data.
The first front-end to detect such anomaly will trigger a MIDAS warning which will also be reported by the deltat GUI. This will trigger a pop-up window displaying the warning message. The user is free to acknowledge the warning, but it is recommended to try to understand the cause of such a warning and to possibly report (the next morning...) the problem to the instrument scientist.
